Achievements:
In what is probably the biggest news over the last two months of neglecting to update the website and news section, would have to be the arrival of Porter from Australia for his stay with Rebecca in Auckland for about a year.
Porter - Aust Ch Golden Rose Bay's Drummer Boy (imp Belgium) has arrived from Tasmania where he lives and is loved by Heather Morrison.
"His impeccable bloodlines carry some of the most influential and famous goldens of our time. His sire Eng Sh Ch Goldenquest Ambassador won the Dog Challenge and went Best of Breed, then Best in Group 4 at Crufts this year 2004 and ended the year as Top Golden Retriever un the UK!!
His dam, Espressivo Van Der Beerse Hoeve is from the famous Dutch kennel of Mieke Gerritsen, and combines a glamorous mix of line-breeding to World Champion Dutch-, German-, VDH-, Luxembourg and Argentina Champion Standfast Angus.(1 time Junior world champion and 3 times World Champion) "
Heather has lots of pics of Porter as he has grown www.kaparla.com and as I saw and photographed many of the dogs in his pedigree when i was working overseas many years ago, I will in time add a photo pedigree for those that have not been so lucky to see these dogs in the flesh.
A huge thanks must go to his breeders, Brigitte, Camiel and Kathy Braeckman-Bracke in Belgium, having had this wonderful man in my home for only a few weeks, it is obvious what a wonder goldie he truly is, not just in looks, but also in temperament - thank-you for oking his stay with me here in New Zealand.
And now to top all this news: At his first Goldie speciality show, Porter took out Res Dog, having only been here less than a week and followed this up the next weekend with his first CC and BOB and another resCC!! Only seven more to go to put NZ CH in front of that name as well!!
Porter will be available to approved bitches during his stay
